Although the poor living conditions and environments in Xinjiang, Guilin, Hunan, and Mexico have caused wrinkles on the faces, rough hands, and dusty clothes of the old men and women, their hearts and souls are full of vitality, love for life, and the desire for a better life. In addition to farming and herding, the women of Xinjiang also do household chores: cooking, milking, making cheese, and caring for their families. Even though they live in simple adobe or blanket houses, and their lives are monotonous and mundane, they still decorate with nature by planting flowers in front of their houses and fruit trees behind their houses to beautify the environment, as well as wearing colorful headscarves and dresses.
