Erin likes to evoke emotions such as happiness, grandeur, and sadness through her violin playing. Her music has stories that are waiting to be discovered.
Erin studied violin with Landi Sheng for 4 years. After 4 years of hard work, Erin improved her techniques significantly and mastered lots of professional pieces including violin concertos by Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Jean Sibelius and Paganini. In summer 2022, She won third prize in the violin open competition and second place for the Baroque period music category at American’s Southwest Youth’s Music Festival. In spring 2023, Erin won second prize at the ASTA Southern California FINALS. Besides playing the violin, Erin also enjoys reading, gymnastics, baking and playing socker.
